I am a master-level licensed clinical social worker in Texas with over 34 years of experience. I have worked with clients facing a wide variety of issues. My goal is to create a safe environment so that your healing can progress.
My approach
My therapy style is client-centered, interactive, and supportive. I believe that treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion is essential to successful therapy. I will adapt our dialog and treatment plan to meet your needs. I use aspects from various therapy styles, including Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Compassion Focused, and Humanistic approaches, so you can have a well-rounded path of recovery.
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, and minors (ages 13-17). My specialties include helping adolescents and teens, as well as adults struggling with anxiety, depression, women's issues, and grief.

I communicate in a caring, respectful manner, adapting my approach to your needs. Through attentive listening and interactive dialog, I aim to create a safe space where you feel heard and supported on your healing journey.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from The University of Texas at Arlington. Driven by a desire to support others on their healing journeys, I have dedicated the past 34 years to providing compassionate therapy services to a diverse range of clients.

In our first session, we will focus on understanding your unique needs, concerns, and goals. I will ask questions to learn more about you and what brought you to therapy. Together, we will begin to develop a personalized treatment plan to guide our work. You can expect me to be attentive, caring, and committed to supporting you every step of the way.
