Hi, my name is Alissa Sladek. I have a masters in social work. I love working with individuals and meeting them where they are in life. I enjoy using different approaches with therapy as I know everyone is an individual and has individual needs.
My approach
I typically use Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), Dialectical (DBT), Strength-Based, and Christian Counseling during sessions with my clients.
My focus
I work with adults 18 and over. I work with many different mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, BPD, Bipolar, Adjustment Disorder, relationship issues, work issues, and family stress, among other things.
My communication style
My communication style offers a calm approach and am very nonjudgmental space for my clients.
My journey to mental healthcare
I have many different life experiences and situations that have pushed me toward this career. I love this field and love watching individuals meet their goals.

I set goals with clients based on what they want in their life.
My first session with you
During the first session, we will do an intake and get to know each other as it is important to have trust in a therapeutic relationship, and trust is something that is built.
