Hi there, I'm Boisey!
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Brain Injury Specialist based in Ft. Worth, Texas, delivering services statewide using telehealth. I work with adolescents and adults and specialize in anxiety disorders, mood disorders, stress and adjustment challenges, trauma, culture and diversity, and brain injury.
My focus
Most of my clients present with anxiety and depression. However, I have also worked with eating disorders, personality disorders, autism, substance abuse/addiction, and psychotic disorders. My focus is on helping the client achieve wellness through the process of acceptance and change.
My approach
I take an integrated approach to meeting clients where they are, based on their individual needs. My primary therapeutic principles are grounded in Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Solution Focused strategies to help clients achieve insight and awareness, strengthen the mind-body connection.
