My communication style

I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen and heard. I hope that clients feel validated during sessions while being therapeutically challenged to heal and grow.

My journey to mental healthcare

I realized I was passionate about discussing people's emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I completed my practicum working with teens struggling with suicidal ideation, self-harm, and depression. I have worked with individuals, couples, and families in outpatient therapy and treated acute eating disorders at higher levels of care.

My goals for you

I believe that goals should always be set by the client. It is important that clients feel that I am walking alongside them rather than directing their therapeutic journey for them. I support clients in setting short-term and long-term goals for sessions, as well as creating a personalized treatment plan.

Our first session

During a client's initial session, we will discuss what is bringing them to therapy as well as the symptoms and situations that they are experiencing the most difficulty with. I may ask clients to create a timeline of past events or discuss events before starting therapy.
