I am a counselor in Texas with counseling experience working with individuals across varying ages, sexual orientations, religious and cultural backgrounds.
My focus
I have a special interest in treating anxiety-related disorders such as stress, generalized anxiety, and trauma, but I also address symptoms of depression that often coexist with anxiety. I am experienced in addressing issues that may arise during life transitions, such as parenting, going to college, divorce, empty nest, aging, and grief.
My approach
I enjoy working with individuals using an eclectic approach to therapy, depending on the needs of the client, but always emphasizing the uniqueness and strengths of the client, and striving to provide a safe, warm, and supportive environment. My clients are of varying ages, sexual orientations, and religious and cultural backgrounds.
