Anna Baldwin, MS, LPC. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 7 years of experience in the field. As a counselor, my hope is to create a supportive relationship that my client will feel validated, heard, and seen within a safe environment.
My approach
I am trained in Play Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Person-Centered Therapy. Although I have experience and training in multiple modalities, I am eclectic in my approach to counseling as no one theory fits each client’s needs. Counseling will be a team effort between client and therapist, as we create a treatment plan to meet your specific and unique needs.
My focus
I work with those who are in need of support dealing with stress management, abuse and trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, low self-worth, as well as other concerns. It is my honor and privilege to walk with you in your healing journey.
My communication style
I believe a collaborative and positive relationship between client and counselor proves to benefit the journey to healing. I believe in the Golden Rule and will reflectively listen with an open mind and heart, without judgment or labels.
