I practice an integrative approach to therapy depending on your needs, with an emphasis on Person-Centered and Solution-Focused methods. Whether you're feeling stuck, conflicted, or just need to talk, I'm here to help you move forward with compassion and understanding.

My focus

I work with children above age 5 to older adults dealing with the human condition. My ideal client is interested in progress over perfection. I help with social skills development, parenting, trauma, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, anxiety and fear, relationships, stress, grief, and behavioral concerns.

My approach depends on your unique needs. I help you create a comprehensive plan for setting and achieving goals, facilitating behavioral change, establishing and maintaining relationships, and enhancing your effectiveness and coping. EMDR and trauma-focused therapy are also available.

My communication style

My sessions are laid back and relaxed. I cultivate an unbiased, judgment-free, culturally sensitive, and trauma-focused environment. Talking with me feels like talking to a friend over a warm cup of tea.

What attracted me to therapy is having a servant's heart and being interested in improving the human condition. I have strived to be what I have previously needed. I enjoy providing empathy, compassion, and a listening ear, and helping others through challenges.

Our first session

The first session is generally an intake to set the foundation for future sessions. We speak about you, your current concerns, and your history to help me understand your situation. We'll also discuss potential goals for therapy, review informed consent documents, and establish a comfortable and safe space.
