My communication style

When we work together, I'll be listening hard and taking notes to make sure I remember everything important to you. There's a lot of back and forth: you talk, I listen, then ask questions, share insights, and explore options with you. It's a judgment-free zone. I love feedback and often ask for it.

My journey to mental healthcare

I noticed how much of an impact people's thoughts had on their bodies. I also had friends and family members die by suicide. This sparked a desire in me to learn how to help others. I've had struggles as well. I believe in practicing what I preach, and have personally benefited from the techniques I use.

My goals for you

You will be an equal partner and will decide what goals and changes you want to work on. I work to help you make the changes as easy as possible. We'll explore different skills and see which ones appeal to you. We'll use technology to its greatest advantage, including mental health apps and digital lessons.

Our first session

Our first session is actually a little underwhelming. A lot is discussed, but we don't go deep. So don't stress the night before. There's basic information I need to share with you. I'll have questions. Then we'll go over the information you shared with me, your background, and you'll decide what you want to work on.
