My communication style is empathetic, collaborative, and clear. I meet you where you are with a nonjudgmental and supportive tone that fosters trust and openness. I actively listen, validate your experiences, and communicate warmly and directly so you feel heard, respected, and understood.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path into mental health care was shaped by working in underserved and correctional settings, where I saw how deeply medical needs intersect with mental health crises, trauma, and substance use. I began to understand that true healing must include the mind and emotions, not just the body.

My goals for you

My approach is to have a therapeutic rapport with the patient while making them comfortable and feeling empowered. Assess the patient for readiness and insight. Also, collaboratively identify problem areas and guide patients to create goals that are: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-bound.

Our first session

We'll complete a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis. Together, we'll set goals and discuss treatment options, including medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, education, and supportive care.
