With twenty years of experience in drug/alcohol and mental health counseling, I've had the privilege of working in a variety of settings, including corrections, community mental health facilities, Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), Adult Drug Court, Juvenile Drug Court, and opiate addiction and detox facilities.
My focus
My ideal client is someone who is ready to work with me to experience your healing, meaning and purpose. Additionally, I am an EMDR-trained therapist, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, and family therapy. I've also served as a lead counselor and a facility's Clinical Manager.
My approach
I use a Person-centered approach; you are the one in control. My theoretical orientation is psychoanalytic, which means I believe that our unconscious conflicts and feelings can significantly impact our well-being and relationships.
