My focus

As a retired Army Social Worker, I have experience working with Active Duty, Veterans, and Civilians who are experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, domestic abuse, toxic work environments, relationship/family issues, or are just feeling overwhelmed with life.

My approach

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to support clients experiencing anxiety and depression. I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help reframe unhealthy thought patterns and heal from past trauma. I use Strength At Home (SAH) to foster healthy communication and connection in relationships. My approach is collaborative and compassionate.

I prioritize a non-judgmental, compassionate approach, practicing active listening to ensure clients feel heard and safe. Each session is tailored to the client's unique needs and pace, which fosters a supportive and empathic environment.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path began as a Guidance Counselor and CPS worker, where I focused on crises and prevention. I then served in the Army, where I worked with military and civilians who were in crisis or needed support. Throughout my career, I have supported clients in their healing and growth, ensuring they achieve wellness and resilience over time.
