My journey to mental healthcare

My journey as a therapist began in childhood, as I was often the friend and family member that everyone went to for help with their problems. I am driven to do this work because I enjoy listening and getting to know and understand people for who they truly are.

We will work together to set your goals by prioritizing your needs and then breaking them down into small, manageable steps. Then we will work through the steps as a team.

Our first session

In your first session, we will begin to get to know each other at your comfort level. How the first session goes depends on your preference. We can dive right into the challenges and symptoms that you are experiencing. Or, we can begin more slowly and take time to develop trust.
