Hi there, I'm Acinta!

My approach to therapy is holistic and eclectic. I customize the approach to each client's unique needs and openness. I have life experiences to add to my formal training; my struggles with depression and suicidal ideation give me a deep, empathetic understanding of those undergoing depression.

My focus

I work with clients who have depression and anxiety. At times, they are also going through life transitions. I am most comfortable working with clients who are self-motivated and do not have active addictions or suicidality.

My approach

Carl Rogers' Client-Centered Approach, with the gentleness of unconditional positive regard, is one that describes my own. Another is Mindfulness-Based, using self-compassion and awareness.
