I help clients wade through what's holding them back, clear the noise, and navigate troubling emotions, thoughts, and behaviors to set a path forward. I've spent the last decade exploring mindfulness and physical resilience and its benefit to overall mental wellness.
My focus
I work with clients who have experienced stress and trauma and are interested in doing the work to release the power of these experiences. Are you going through a difficult divorce or navigating a life transition? Have you experienced sexual trauma or abusive relationships? Are depression or anxiety interfering with your daily life?
My approach
My foundation is cognitive behavioral therapy, though not right for all situations. Specializing in post-trauma growth, I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and mindfulness-based stress reduction. I believe you can recover from past trauma and replace negative cognitions with positive adaptive memory.
