Hi there, I'm Jia!

I offer individual therapy within a safe, compassionate, and non-judgmental space. I approach therapy with guidance on enhancing awareness and connection in the present moment. I welcome children, adolescents, and adults seeking support for a variety of reasons, including grief, generational trauma, and racial identity.

My focus

I work with clients experiencing loss and grief, unresolved childhood issues, family and relationship dynamics, anxiety, life transitions, and identity. My aim is to create a space where your unique strengths and gifts emerge and become more apparent and accessible to you.

I facilitate awareness and connection in the present moment. I believe that working on our obstacles can help unravel our creativity and curiosity to be able to live life consciously and fully.

I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I make it a priority to affirm and empower you for your bravery through difficult times. No one is more of an expert on your life and experiences than you are.

My journey to mental healthcare

My path of self-exploration eventually led me to become a therapist. In a world that often pushes us to survive rather than thrive, many of us are left wondering what it truly means to feel fulfilled, grounded, or like ourselves again. I believe that being deeply seen and supported is a powerful part of the healing process.

I believe that therapy is a partnership. Together, we'll identify and set goals that matter to you, whether they focus on improving relationships, building self-esteem, or another personal objective. As we work together, your goals may evolve as you gain new insights.

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. Therapy is a process, and we'll continue to build our work together over time.
