Hi there, I'm Mylie!

I am a Ph.D. candidate and am currently finishing up my dissertation at Texas A&M University-Commerce. I received my Bachelor of Science in Counseling from Santa Clara University and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Tarleton State University.

I specialize in working with adults facing relational issues, particularly couples seeking to enhance communication, trust, conflict resolution, emotional connectivity, and intimacy. I also support individuals and adolescents healing from trauma, including emotional, physical, and sexual abuse.

My journey to mental healthcare

After spending over a decade in the corporate world, I realized something was missing. I took time to reflect and transitioned into counseling. It's been the most fulfilling work of my life, and I've never looked back.
