My communication style

I believe in being very straightforward about therapy and am an open book in willingness to answer any question the client puts before me. Integrity is integral to the process. I expect the client to be the same way as they face their own "shadow side" and roadblocks. Clients will progress much faster when they have courage to do the "hard things".

My journey to mental healthcare

As a child, I really wanted to be an archaeologist, but soon decided that wouldn't be practical for my future life. When I became a therapist and discovered body work as a key component of effective therapy, I realized I was actually doing "somatic archaeology". I love to help clients "dig" into the hidden parts of their life and create meaning.

My goals for you

I start by describing a menu list of the different modalities I offer ,like EMDR, Neurofeedback, Somatic/body work, DBT, among others. After doing a thorough intake, evaluations and testing; together we come up with a treatment plan that fits their goals, both short and long term. My goal is to empower them to create lasting healing.

Our first session

More than anything, I want each person who comes in my office to feel valued, heard, and believed. So many have felt unheard and judged. I honor where they've been, where they currently are, and strive to help them create viable achievable goals for their future. I emphasize that our relationship is a partnership of showing up and being "real".
