Hi there, I'm Rachelle!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist Associate who has years of experience in treating children, adolescents, and adults with mental illness. My career has focused on intense trauma, personality disorders, substance use, anxiety, and women's issues.

My focus

I have experience with individuals between 5 years old and 70 years old. I have the most experience in grief, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder, substance use disorders, personality disorders, mood disorders, and abuse. I have experience with individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities.

My approach

I enjoy using a person-centered approach that is tailored to the client's needs. Most frequently, I use CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, play therapy, art therapy, grief therapy, and trauma-focused therapies.

My communication style

I am very laid-back and talk with individuals naturally and casually. I like the comfort of feeling equal to my clients and talking with them on their level, with their humor and seriousness level.

My journey to mental healthcare

My whole family has struggled with mental illness. Seeing the struggle and being directly involved had created a spark in me that made me want to advocate and treat those who are struggling. I then continue to love this work more and more as I work with new people and see the strides they make and the need for this kind of assistance.
