My communication style

My communication style is warm, empathetic, and straightforward. I strive to create a calm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel safe to express themselves openly. Working with me often feels collaborative and empowering—patients are treated as partners and I take time to listen, and ensure that each person feels heard.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into mental healthcare began with a deep-rooted desire to help others heal—not just physically, but emotionally and mentally. As a registered nurse, I often encountered patients whose mental health needs were overlooked or underserved, and I saw how profoundly mental well-being impacts every aspect of a person’s life.

My goals for you

I approach goal setting as a collaborative and individualized process. We work together to identify what matters most to the patient—whether it’s improving mood, managing anxiety, building routines, or strengthening relationships. I help break larger goals into manageable, realistic steps, while continuously checking in to adjust as progress.

Our first session

Patients can expect a welcoming and supportive environment where we begin building a trusting relationship. I’ll take time to learn about their concerns, medical and mental health history, current symptoms, and any previous treatment experiences. We'll also discuss goals for care and what they hope to gain from our work together.
