My communication style

I present a calm tone and an open arms environment. I pass no judgment on anyone. I allow the client to lead the session and facilitate when needed. I help the client find the strength and independence needed to grow and meet their goals.

My journey to mental healthcare

When I was growing up, my dad always helped the less fortunate in any way he could. As I become a man, I find that I have his same heart. I always found myself in positions to help other people. After a lot of thought and prayer, I went back to College and got the degrees needed to become a counselor.

My goals for you

Goal setting is something the client and therapist should do together. We will examine trouble areas and set attainable goals to help build confidence. Once the client meets their goals, we will create new, slightly more challenging ones. If they struggle, goals will be adjusted to be more obtainable.

Our first session

The first session will be a get-to-know-each-other session. I will be focusing on trying to find commonalities we both have and focus on rapport building.
