My focus

Being a caregiver, whether by profession or life circumstance, can be rewarding, challenging, and overwhelming, often all at once. You may be feeling burned out and/or isolated; neither of these means you care less or that you're weak. It's time to take care of you!
My approach
I often use CBT to identify a client's core beliefs. This can be the start of identifying gaps in self-concept, then we work together to fill in those gaps. I try to meet people where they are; if a client isn't ready to dive in and needs to talk things through first, that's where we will start. I also approach many situations through an EMDR lens.
