My communication style

I aim to communicate in a way that feels warm, approachable, and collaborative. I practice active listening to reflect and encourage insight, use imagery and metaphors to make ideas more relatable, gently challenge unhelpful patterns with curiosity, and incorporate humor when appropriate to make our work together feel lighter and more human.

My journey to mental healthcare

I began in criminal justice but grew curious about how systems shape lives. This led me to social work! Seeing the power of therapy and community during my practicum inspired me to become a therapist. Since then, I’ve worked in forensic settings, community mental health, child welfare, schools, intensive outpatient care, research, and the military.

My goals for you

I see therapy as a partnership - you drive, and I help navigate. Together, we will set meaningful goals, adjust them as needed, find ways to help you stay motivated as you grow and change, and celebrate every milestone, big or small.

Our first session

In our first session, I hope to help you feel supported and welcomed. We'll review expectations, discuss the limits of confidentiality, address any questions you may have about me or the therapeutic process, and explore what brings you to therapy as well as the goals you’d like to focus on together.
