My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a therapist started when I was working as a nurse. I have always had a passion for mental health, and I wanted to do more. I enjoyed my psychology electives so much that I changed my major to psychology. I went on to obtain my Master of Social Work degree and my clinical license.

Our first session

During the first session, clients should expect to begin building a rapport with me. I will gather information from the client to gain an understanding of their needs, history, current challenges, future expectations, and goals for therapy.
