Choosing the place where one decides to engage in therapy is a difficult one and is often the result of problems that necessitate it. I am here to welcome you to a place free of judgment, which fosters an objective view of the client, the problems, needs, and disposition.
My focus
I work with adults and adolescents with mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. I have over a decade of experience assisting people with those problems in addition to substance use and transitional issues, which are often present with mental health concerns.
My approach
I use what is known as an eclectic approach, which is to say I use whatever modes of therapy are best suited for the client and their needs. The first step is a person-centered approach, as the client knows what is going on and what outcome they want. I frequently use cognitive techniques as they are more objective and outcome-based.
