Hi there, I'm Brisa!
I can’t promise I have all the answers, but I want to help! You know yourself best. I often use CBT, although I do many more. My role is to help you understand what’s getting in the way, gently challenge patterns that aren’t serving you, and back off when it feels like too much. We move at your pace as slow as you need!
My focus
The world feels like it’s on fire right now, and mental health issues don’t exactly make it easier. I do my best to help people figure out how to find a bit of calm in the storm that is the crap storm of life. I work with anxiety, women's issues, and chronic illness! Individuals 18+ only please. I like to make my people feel safe and heard.
My approach
My work is eclectic, which is basically a fancy way of saying I don’t believe one model fits everyone. I pull from various models and whole person centered approaches. My goal is to encourage yourself to be accepting of however you’re able to show up, not where you think you’re “supposed” to be or what you’re “supposed” to do.
