My communication style

I approach each client as an empathic listener, with a desire to intently hear your needs, perspectives, and goals. Throughout our sessions, my tone remains calm, my demeanor poised, and my listening style reflective and non-judgmental.

My journey to mental healthcare

Unlike a physical wound, mental illness is often the invisible wound that many silently carry. I was drawn to therapy by my need to help others overcome stigma and achieve optimal mental wholeness. I've worked extensively in mental health settings treating severe conditions and supporting Veterans.

My goals for you

Successful care and progress look different for each client and are based on the needs and goals you personally set for yourself. Progress occurs per your own pre-established benchmarks, identified and discussed during our initial sessions.

Our first session

My first session is designed to establish rapport and learn about you and what brought you to therapy. I invite you to share your needs, concerns, background, and goals. I also share about myself and how I can most effectively assist you in achieving your goals.
