My journey to mental healthcare

I was a teacher for 10 years before becoming a clinical social worker. I have always enjoyed helping and supporting others. I found that being a therapist allowed me to help in a different way and impact a variety of people.

In your first therapy session we’ll focus on getting to know each other so you feel comfortable and understood. I’ll gather background information about your personal, medical, and mental health history and discuss the concerns that brought you to therapy to better understand your situation.
