I approach therapy with warmth, respect, and collaboration to meet your needs and goals. My areas of practice include trauma-informed care, depression, anxiety, poor self-image, and other life challenges including adjusting to major life changes and complex medical issues.

My focus

I work with individuals from adolescents to the elderly who have experienced depression, anxiety, and trauma from life's many challenges.

My approach

I am a curious person and encourage my clients to be the same about themselves. I have found that to be a great way to begin a relationship. I pride myself on creating an open, warm, trusting environment for my clients to share their stories. I specialize in strengths-based trauma-informed care, CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused modalities of care.

My clients have stated that I am an empathetic listener who is very easy to talk to, especially when having to share very personal stories.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always enjoyed helping people and was lucky enough to receive help when I needed it. Thankfully, through my life experiences, I have gained a perspective that no matter what we go through, we can utilize those challenges to become stronger, resilient human beings. Becoming an LCSW was a natural career for me. I truly love it!

I believe in a strong, collaborative, strengths-based approach to setting goals with my clients. For therapy to be successful, you must be involved in the entire process.

Our first session

The first appointment is a time for the client and me to get to know each other, learn why they have sought therapy, and, most importantly, see if the client and I are a good fit.
