I have practice experience helping families and children, adults and teens. I have specializations in interpersonal violence, trauma, and crisis interventions.
My focus
I work with many clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief and loss, or trauma resulting from a variety of experiences. In our work together, we identify and prioritize realistic goals such as feeling better in general or managing triggers through learned coping skills. Most clients want to feel a sense of control again as well as recover.
My approach
I offer kindness and warmth. I work to co-create a safe space where clients can share their thoughts and worries openly without fear of judgment. I use trauma-informed approaches including solution-focused therapy, narrative therapy, somatic interventions, mindfulness techniques, cognitive-behavior therapy, and DBT.
