Hi there, I'm Susan!

I am a seasoned clinician with 16 years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), primarily with women and couples. I integrate the following conditions: high‐functioning anxiety, burnout recovery, emotional fatigue, boundaries and self‐trust, people‐pleasing patterns, and perfectionism recovery.

My focus

I work best with heterosexual, LGBTQ+, and transgender adults.

My approach

For individual therapy, I use a multi-faceted approach with polyvagal‐informed healing, Somatic processing, trauma‐integrated therapy, mind–body connection, and shame‐sensitive therapy. For couples, I use a communication skill-based approach.

I received my MSMHC at a later age, which permitted me to incorporate my life experience into my learning - an added dimension to my treatment style.

Open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with me as an empathetic partner. If we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.

Our first session

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss your background and what brings you to therapy. It's completely normal to feel nervous. We'll take it one step at a time, and I'm here to guide you through each step of the process.
