Hi there, I'm Amanda!

My original background is in progressive care medicine. Over my career, I have worked inpatient, outpatient, in the PHP setting, and in addiction medicine.

My focus

I enjoy working with individuals with a myriad of psychiatric diagnoses, including anxiety, panic disorder, social disorder, OCD, PTSD, skin picking/excoriation disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, schizoaffective disorder, schizophrenia, and ADHD.

My approach

I work hand-in-hand with individuals to formulate comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans. I don't push medications; instead, I discuss medication options, risks and benefits, alternatives to medications, and provide supportive therapy.

My communication style

I recognize that our sessions are a sacred space, in which people often make themself emotionally vulnerable. As such, I always approach my clients with respect and compassion.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have undergraduate degrees in both psychology and nursing, and decided to bridge the two. I greatly enjoy working in my field and bridging the worlds of physical and mental health.
