Hi there, I'm Cheryl!

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand how their thoughts affect their emotions and experiences. In my treatment plans, I combine evidence-based holistic interventions with CBT to create a synergistic effect that leads to more significant positive outcomes.

My focus

I support adolescents, adults, families, and couples through the challenges they face in different stages of life and relationships. With adolescents, I create a safe space where they can explore their emotions, identity, and social pressures. For adults, therapy addresses anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, or finding direction.

My approach

I integrate evidence-based holistic interventions alongside cognitive-behavioral and EMDR therapy. Traumatic memories and the intense emotions, physical sensations, and negative beliefs linked to them can become stuck in the brain in an unprocessed state. EMDR helps the brain reprocess these memories, making them less distressing.
