Hi there, I'm Colleen!

I am glad you're here. I offer trauma-informed therapy. Maybe you want guidance digging into deeper emotions and healing forward. Maybe you long for self-care amid life transitions. My clients grow more attuned to themselves and to their stories, and they experience freedom from thinking patterns and wounded beliefs.

My focus

I help people struggling with: Shame, Trauma, Attachment, Codependency, Boundaries, Grief, Loss, Anxiety, Life Changes, Burnout, Depression, Self-Esteem, and Relationship Issues.

My approach

I customize care to each client by pulling from evidence-based approaches such as humanistic therapy, attachment theory, emotionally-focused therapy, trauma-informed cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectal behavioral therapy.

My communication style

I work in compassion and nonjudgment, fostering safety in the therapy session. My therapeutic approach is warm & client-centered, and I am also direct about barriers to treatment and options for resolution and healing. It is also valuable to offer clients space to lean into their autonomy and discernment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am passionate about helping others to heal wounds within self and relationships. I continue to work on managing depression, healing forward from abuse, and cultivating self-love. I am very interested in how brain physiology interplays with mental health and one’s ability to cope. I have a master's degree in counseling and am licensed in OR & WA.

A first session helps me learn about you and what brings you to treatment. We can collaborate on your therapy goals and our roadmap. I will have assessment questions for you. There is room for you to share any questions or concerns you may have about therapy and your needs.
