My communication style

I believe effective psychiatric care begins with open, honest, and respectful communication. I create a warm, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe discussing their symptoms, concerns, and treatment goals. I listen carefully, explain diagnoses and treatment options in clear language, and encourage questions.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a psychiatric provider was shaped by a deep interest in the connection between mental health, physical health, and overall well-being. I was drawn to this work because I value the opportunity to listen to people’s stories, understand their experiences, and support them through meaningful change.

My goals for you

I help patients set treatment goals by first listening carefully to their concerns, priorities, and hopes for care. Together, we identify meaningful, realistic goals and break them into manageable steps. I explain treatment options clearly and collaborate with each patient to develop a plan that fits their needs, values, and circumstances.

Our first session

During your first session, you can expect a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental conversation. I will take time to learn about your current concerns, symptoms, medical and mental health history, daily life, and treatment goals. I encourage you to share what feels most important to you and to ask questions throughout the appointment.
