Hi there, I'm Dr. Sandrine!

I prefer to be called Sandrine. I’m a multi-state board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner, and I provide mental health services to individuals of all ages.

My focus

I treat patients experiencing a wide range of mental health conditions, including schizophrenia, ADHD, MDD, and Anxiety disorders.

My approach

Each patient is different, and therefore, I tailor each encounter and treatment plan to be patient-specific with the goals to eradicate symptoms, restore function, and enhance quality of life. I use a multifaceted approach that combines therapy, lifestyle changes, psychopharmacology (if needed), and support systems.

My communication style

I adopt an empathetic and compassionate tone to convey genuine concern without judgment, and I stress fostering trust. Patients report that they feel like I'm their provider and therapist at the same time because they can openly speak their mind and appreciate the fact that I'm easily approachable.

My journey to mental healthcare

I started my journey as a mental health nurse in a small hospital and had a wonderful experience interacting with patients. My ability to actively listen to patients, manage crises on the floor, and the overall positive feedback from staff and patients encouraged me to deepen my knowledge in mental health and become a provider.

I focus on establishing rapport and understanding patients' perspectives. Also, I set SMART goals and developed an action plan that involves patient and support systems. Lastly, I monitor Patient progress and provide feedback.
