Hi there, I'm Amelia!

Welcome to my therapy page! I would like to make this space safe for you to bring up whatever you may need. I believe you already have answers within you, but you may need someone to shine a flashlight on parts that may be hidden or buried.

My focus

I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns, including refugees, geriatric populations, chronic mental illness, relationship issues, and trauma. I have had special training in diagnosing adults on the Autism Spectrum and training in sex therapy.

My approach

I will use whichever technique or therapy relates to the issues at hand, such as CBT or Client-Focused Therapy. For couples, I use the Gottman Assessment.

My communication style

I will tailor our dialogue to meet your unique and specific needs. I am an introvert and will be more of a listener and guide. I am straightforward and go straight to work in most cases, rather than spending a lengthy time on small talk.
