I approach my practice with empathy and compassion and view us as a team working towards your goals.

My focus

I work with adults, children, and teens experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, and loss, including death, divorce, unemployment, or housing changes. I support those going through life transitions, Veterans, Refugees, LGBTQ individuals, and those with substance use, mental health, and chronic health conditions.

My approach

I tailor therapy to what works best for you. Techniques I use include cognitive-behavioral therapy, systems approach, mindfulness-based treatment with breathing and relaxation, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing.

My communication style

My style is gentle and empathic. I engage in active listening and reflection and provide feedback and suggestions with your permission. I create a calming, stable environment where you can share openly and honestly.

My journey to mental healthcare

I always wanted to work with people. I chose social work because I value viewing clients within their environment, support, and community. I enjoy watching clients move through therapy to live more fulfilling lives.
