I prefer to work using direct feedback and honest conversations that create new insights for change and transformation to develop. My approach involves empowering you by developing knowledge and understanding associated with the problem and life stressors that will allow you to do something different.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey to becoming a mental health provider and therapist began in the 1980s when I started my counseling career working with individuals with disabilities. Over time, I realized that the true challenge often lies within the individual -the battle of self, but also within the systems that create barriers.

My goals for you

My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being vulnerable and open to their healing journey. I believe that true transformation begins with a willingness to do the work, and I am here to walk alongside my clients as they take that step.

Our first session

In the first session, my goal is to gain a deep understanding of the presenting concerns by listening with intention, ensuring clients feel heard and understood. This session is not only about getting to know the client but also about determining if I am the right therapist for them.
