My communication style

I create a safe space for honest communication free from judgment. I welcome transparent feedback and value learning from one another. I name emotions in the moment when working through difficult topics and place cultural humility, dignity, respect, and self-determination at the center of my practice.

My journey to mental healthcare

I'm drawn to this work by my passion for using knowledge, wisdom, and lived experiences to support others. I'm driven by the bravery, courage, and resilience I've encountered in communities. I believe everyone has the power within to lead lives of quality and fulfillment.

My goals for you

Goal setting is approached and considered on day 1 of the work that I do with clients. I enjoy solution-focused work coupled with planning. I consider treatment planning and goal setting a live process while recognizing that goals may shift as new revelations and stages in the change process are embarked upon.

Our first session

You can expect a combination of gathering clinical background, personal history, and rapport building. We'll also envision and discuss what you hope to take away from our time together and the goals you hope to accomplish.
