My communication style

I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and will give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with me as an empathetic partner. I will use humor when appropriate. And, if we’re working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.

My journey to mental healthcare

My journey into mental healthcare grew from a belief in human resilience and the desire to help others through life’s hardest moments. Early work with youth in a correctional facility and as a social worker at the Department of Health & Human Services showed me the power of therapy and support.

My goals for you

Therapy is a collaborative process. We will identify goals that matter to you, whether improving relationships, self-esteem, or other personal challenges. As you grow and gain insight, we can adjust objectives to keep them meaningful. Support and practical tools will help you move toward the life you want.

Our first session

Our first session is an opportunity to get to know each other. We’ll discuss your background, what brings you to therapy, and begin exploring your goals. It’s normal to feel nervous—together we’ll take it one step at a time, and I’ll guide you through the process.
