I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I am also a first-generation immigrant and mother. My life experiences in decades-long work with multinationals, living in different countries, and raising my children in different cultures have broadened and elevated my compassion and empathy for the uniqueness of each individual's suffering and pain.

It's been 4 months since I started sessions with Ms. Reyes. Before that, I had no experience with therapy. I feel that she truly understands me and what I am feeling and has helped me navigate through difficult times. It is truly a safe space. I strongly would and have already recommended her to a friend. However, it is true that not all therapists are a right fit. As a Filipino-American, having a Filipina therapist is so helpful because of the shared culture. Other friends who are not Filipino may not feel the same connection that I feel with Ms. Reyes and may feel more comfortable with someone else within their ethnicity. Overall, I feel very lucky to have her support and be her client.
