My name is Martha, and I look forward to the chance to work with you! I am specialized in working with individuals across the life span and gender spectrum who are struggling with suicidal ideation. I feel incredibly lucky to have found a profession that allows me to use my skills in empathy, confrontation, and communication to help others.

Grief, whether from the death of a loved one, divorce, illness, or other life transition, can feel overwhelming. My goal is to help you learn the tools to cope with the pain and distress that comes from loss, restore your capacity for well-being, and see the possibilities for a promising future.

I work with those who chose a life in service to our country. I've gained extensive experience with diverse clients in outpatient mental health, crisis cases, and inpatient psychiatry. I've provided psychotherapy exclusively for the last three years.

As a first-generation immigrant from Southeast Asia, my journey has taken me through Singapore, Taiwan, and Buffalo, NY — experiences that shape how I see culture, identity, and belonging. Outside of the therapy room, you can usually find me cooking, playing softball, snuggling under a heated blanket, or playing fetch with my dog!

I am a trauma-informed Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who has worked with at-risk youth, veterans, and people with disabilities. I have 15 years of experience with kindergarten through higher education and beyond. Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is my original specialty for children and adults.
