Welcome! Since becoming an independently licensed provider in 2013 and founding my practice in 2015, I have been deeply dedicated to supporting children, adults, couples, and families. Truly loving what I do, I lead with a compassionate, person-centered approach to ensure you feel heard, valued, and empowered throughout your healing journey.

I support women through life transitions, trauma healing, and complex family and intergenerational dynamics. I help women restore balance, heal relational wounds, and reconnect with purpose. I also offer a one‑month trauma intensive with eight sessions held twice weekly.

I focus on young adults and life adjustment for older adults. I use cognitive behavior therapy for depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, AD(H)D, adjustment disorder, and trauma treatment. I also provide EMDR for self-esteem building and trauma healing, and offer space for clients to process life's disappointments and difficulties.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Maryland. I earned my Masters Degree from the University of New England, and have over 9 years of experience as a therapist. I help adults that want to overcome the issues that keep them stuck or in distress to gain the tools that they need to live happy and healthy lives.

I am excited to possibly work with you. Some therapeutic approaches I like to utilize include: family systems, Adlerian theories, person-centered theories, and NTU therapeutic approach.

I have extensive experience providing individual and family psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. I have worked in both educational and clinical settings, supporting students with autism and those in crisis. My background includes trauma therapy, crisis intervention, and program development.

I have deep respect and admiration for any person willing to seek improvement in a therapeutic environment. I was born in Ethiopia and raised in Maryland. I have worked as a counselor/therapist since 2004 and have had great success working with people to improve their quality of life.
