I’m Kristin Petersen, and I’ve been a psychotherapist for over 13 years. Throughout my career, my work has taken me through a variety of settings and experiences, allowing me to develop a deep appreciation for the unique stories, strengths, and challenges that each person brings to therapy.

I'm a social worker with a passion for helping individuals reduce the impact of social pressures and those whose lives have been negatively affected by poor mental health or chemical health issues. I believe in meeting you where you are and supporting your journey toward wellness.

My style of therapy is always client-centered and incorporates mindfulness and a holistic approach to understanding your life.

I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from the University of Minnesota and am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), a credential granted by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. I came to the U.S. as a political refugee. These experiences have contributed to my practice.
