I am an independently Licensed Social Worker and an independently licensed chemical dependency counselor with a passion for helping individuals and families navigate life's challenges. I have extensive experience in working with a wide range of issues, including building self-esteem and empowerment, anger management, stress management, and more.

When I'm working with you, the focus is you--nothing else. You deserve to be truly heard and responded to with support, directness, and honesty. You may want assistance with seeing things in a new way and developing new ways to approach challenges. You may want to better understand what has held you back or why you have certain fears.

I have worked with clients from 3 to 93 years of age. I have practiced in many different settings, including outpatient mental health clinics, primary care offices, inpatient mental health units, substance use, in jails, and prisons. I have developed a well-rounded toolbox to assist my clients in achieving the life that they want to live.

Reaching out for therapy can be difficult and anxiety-producing. I will do everything I can to help you in this process and support you. I enjoy helping people who are struggling to better understand their feelings, needs, and goals and develop strategies to get to a more comfortable and satisfying place.

I’m a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW, #I.0005982) with experience supporting adults and teens in child welfare, senior care, and educational advocacy. I’m married with three adult children, one with a cognitive disability. Outside work, I enjoy family, friends, travel, reading, cards, and my two dogs.

I primarily focus on person-centered therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I specialize in anxiety and depression and have a lot of experience with grief work and bereavement.
