I'm Katia, and my primary focus is working with individuals who experience anxiety, stress, depression, and general life adjustment issues. I believe it's important to learn how to practice self-awareness so when difficult situations occur, we have a better sense of how to handle things, and hopefully, increased feelings of being in control.

I serve people ages 8-108 years old through individual, family, and couples/marriage therapy. I treat anxiety, depression, thought problems, grief, trauma, high-stress work environments, and more! I offer telehealth and in-person sessions. In-person sessions have the option of having animal-assisted therapy.

I believe that sometimes during your growth, there can be growing pains. I feel it is a privilege to walk the journey with you, supporting you in a safe environment so you can achieve empowerment and gain the skills you need. I applaud anyone for taking this first step.

I have maintained a private counseling practice since 2000, and I continue to work with individuals and families in that capacity. I have dedicated my career to helping others and to working with the community to ensure the well-being of families and children.

I have mainly worked with people with anxiety, depression, bipolar, and ADHD symptoms, and with individuals and couples with relationship issues.
