I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) working with adults impacted by trauma, depression, and anxiety. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed, integrating EMDR, CBT, and DBT to help you understand patterns, regulate your nervous system, and move beyond survival mode.

I believe therapy empowers people to live fuller, more productive lives. I grew up in a Latino family, surrounded by military members, and spent summers with my mom on communes in Oregon. This gave me a wide understanding of humankind. I am a clinical supervisor/counselor whose focus includes trauma, healing the inner child, changing survival skills to thrive skills, inner critic ninja skills, and freedom from shame.

I am a queer, biracial, neurodivergent therapist passionate about providing affirming and curiosity driven therapy. I work with adults navigating anxiety, trauma, identity exploration, life transitions, and relationship challenges, with a focus on supporting LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and other individuals who may feel outside the "norm."

I offer a subspecialty in intercultural marriages and relationships, particularly for Muslim and Arabic speakers. I have over 30 years in Government leadership and offer support to executives.

I am licensed in Minnesota, Oregon, New York, and Washington. With over 30 years in the helping professions, I have worked in many settings, including street outreach, community programs, inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, and private practice.

I have worked in community mental health, crisis counseling, inpatient settings and Intensive Outpatient programs with extensive experience treating depression, anxiety, trauma and problems in relationships.
