I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years in human services and nearly 20 years providing therapy. I work with adults, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. My goal is to provide a supportive space where clients feel understood, empowered, and capable of meaningful change.

I specialize in trauma-informed care, helping individuals navigate grief, childhood trauma, and emotional overwhelm. My practice is built on the belief that emotion isn't a symptom, but a pathway towards healing. I help clients find answers to their deepest questions.

I have more than 26 years of experience working with children and families. I started out my career as a social worker and worked with elderly and disabled adults, and went on to also work in Child Welfare. In 2008, I completed my master's degree in Counseling Psychology and, since then, have focused on my work as a therapist.

Therapy can be hard. I like to inject as much compassion, humor, and happiness as I can into the therapeutic process as we resolve many of life's challenges. I specialize in trauma, all addictions, PTSD, anxiety, sex therapy, couples and marriage counseling, parent counseling, ADHD, Spirituality, and Careers.

I am neurodivergence-affirming, striving to support individuals experiencing challenges related to neurodivergence, emotional regulation, and social stressors, including trauma. I work with clients of all ages. I specialize in supporting young children and their parents. I am certified in EMDR, AutPlay Therapy, and sensory enrichment therapy.

I help clients learn to recognize, name, and manage those confusing emotions through play, arts and crafts, and good old fashioned talk therapy.
