I recognize that mental health is deeply connected to our lived experience, identities, and the communities we come from. I am an LMHC, and I am the owner of Grace and Mercy Counseling, LLC. I provide compassionate, client-centered counseling to adults and adolescents who may be experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship concerns, anger, life transitions, and other emotional challenges.

I am dedicated to providing compassionate care to my clients. Over the past decade, I have gained extensive experience supporting individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and substance dependence, with a specialized focus on trauma.

I believe the most important thing I can offer as a counselor is this: genuine care. A mentor once told me, “Nobody cares what you know until they know that you care,” and that has stayed with me throughout my career. It shapes how I show up in every session, with authenticity, presence, and respect for your experience.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Trauma-Focused CBT practitioner, and Youth Crisis Intervention specialist. Through my practice, Oh Ra! Holistic Healing, LLC, I provide therapy, training, and workshops that integrate evidence-based care with a holistic lens.

The majority of my clients include teens, adults, and couples. My specializations include anxiety, depression, human sexuality, LGBTQIA+ issues, and trauma. I have experience working with people who have survived sexual assault and intimate partner violence.

I work with people suffering from anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, OCD, trauma, PTSD, domestic violence, complicated grief, and relationship issues. I also support the LGBTQ+ population around sexual identity, relationships, and coming out. Listening in a caring and empathetic manner helps me develop trusting relationships.

A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

I believe everyone has the answers they seek inside of them, and it's my job to help you get to the answers. In my spare time, I play golf and guitar, and walk on the beach.
