A native of Charleston, South Carolina. I have provided counseling for the past 35 years (27 years of that in private practice). I graduated from St. Andrews Parish High School and the College of Charleston before receiving my master's degree in clinical counseling from The Citadel.

The decision to connect with a mental health professional takes courage and self-awareness. The pressures of life can be overwhelming and too much to handle on our own. I aim to create a safe space for clients to feel comfortable discussing difficult topics and feel comfortable to be able to share their thoughts and feelings without judgement.

I can be both blunt and gentle as appropriate. My life's work can be summed up in three words: "offering people hope".
